I'm Andres Elizondo — AE Software is my initials, and my practice. Based in the Netherlands, I work at the intersection of product and engineering, with 17 years building software that ships — from product strategy and UX through architecture, code, and team.
My background spans product management, full-stack development, software architecture, and startup founding — across global tech firms (HP, Microsoft) and high-growth startups. I've shipped a SaaS product to 40+ countries with Salto, co-founded a venue pre-ordering startup that processed €210K+ in its first year, and architected enterprise audit systems used worldwide. AE Software brings that senior-level depth directly to teams that need it, without the overhead.
My approach is straightforward: understand the product deeply, build the right thing, and ship what your team can maintain and evolve. I care about craftsmanship, clean architecture, and product outcomes — not just code shipped.

Current
Product Lead for Salto's Identity Management category worldwide — owning strategy, roadmap, commercialization, GTM, and cross-functional execution across global markets. Joined as Senior Lead Developer (2020) and built the SaaS platform that became the company's product foundation; led the global launch of Salto IDM as Technical Product Manager (2021–2025) before stepping into the Product Lead role.
Shipped Salto IDM to 40+ countries and built the operating model that aligns company strategy with product revenue.

Founded a mobile pre-ordering product for festivals and venues. Built the MVP, architecture, roadmap, and business plan. Accepted into Startupbootcamp, winner in the Johan Cruijff ArenA "Change the Game" program, and chosen as one of its tech suppliers to run the solution at the stadium.
Processed €210K+ in orders in the first year across events, restaurants, and bars before COVID closed those markets, leading to a responsible wind-down under SLA.

Built a financial-dashboard product using the full stack (C# .NET, ReactJS, AngularJS) and collaborated closely with the design team to define how the product looked, felt, and worked. Began building with Solidity (Ethereum) as a side project, which later seeded the Bitz startup.
Engineering with UX — delivered full-stack features alongside the design team; the Solidity work seeded Bitz.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise

Managed the full project implementation for the ITO CenAm Financial Tool used by executives across HP's ITO Central America and Caribbean — a multi-country effort requiring remote collaboration, requirements gathering, and stakeholder communication. Also built the Reconciliation Audit System for SOX applications used worldwide in stock trading, automatically reconciling, validating, and flagging thousands of IT access control changes.
Built enterprise audit and financial systems used across HP ITO Central America and worldwide stock-trading SOX applications.

Supported Microsoft clients with large-scale automated deployments of Microsoft products, including Windows Vista and Office 2007. Assisted public institutions and banks with software update implementation, knowledge transfer, and escalation support for senior technical engineers.
